This painting was also done after coming home with some groceries. I have painted a lot of pears over time because of the variety of their colours and shapes. The vivid red and yellows of the peppers added some punch. As I propped them up to take a photo I had trouble keeping them all upright so I leaned them up against each other - thus the title "Lean on Me".
